A History of Empathy and Responsibility

At NAREE, we believe that fashion can be more than just fashion—it can be an expression of care and a language of empathy. We design clothing without forgetting its impact on people, animals, and nature. CSR initiatives at NAREE are not a marketing strategy, but a natural extension of our values.

We care for animals in need

Did you know that there are over 80,000 homeless dogs living in Polish shelters?
Behind this number lie real stories—often difficult, but with a chance for a happy ending. With their happy endings in mind, Kamila, the owner of NAREE, initiates projects aimed not only at raising funds for homeless animals, but above all promoting adoption and raising awareness that each of us can help in our own way. One aspect of these efforts is the campaign with PSIUZAMI . These are hoodies and T-shirts featuring dog-themed graphics, which can be purchased in our store in May to celebrate National Animal Rights Day . The sweatshirts are part of limited-edition “NOŚ DOBRO” Mystery Boxes , which also contain gifts from campaign partners.

All proceeds from the PSIUZAMI campaign support organizations that help homeless animals, such as the Krakow Society for the Care of Animals (KTOZ), Przytul Sierściucha from Myślenice , Westy do Adopcji, and the Psie Pole Shelter in Racławice. Over the course of three editions of the campaign, we have managed to raise over 250,000 zlotys!

Another way we’re showing our support is through THE ADVENT DOG CALENDAR , a charity campaign organized in partnership with KTOZ Shelter for Homeless Animals in Krakow . Every day from December 1st to 24th, on our social media channels, we share the story of a different dog looking for a home and ask you to share it. Every adopted animal receives a starter kit from us, prepared together with our campaign partners.

Since NAREE’s inception, we have supported the “fur-free” stores campaign organized by Open Cages – by declaring that our collections will never feature natural fur or accessories of animal origin.

WE PROMOTE CONSCIOUS CONSUMPTION

We believe that sustainable fashion isn’t just a trend, but a way of thinking—about the world, about ourselves, and about what we leave behind.

The materials we use

Sustainable fashion starts with conscious decisions made during the design phase. We make sure that the materials used to make our clothes are not only beautiful and durable, but also kind to the planet and to you.

We strive to use certified materials:

gots
The GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification confirms that the fabrics we use are made from organic plant fibers sourced from pesticide-free and GMO-free crops
lenzing
LENZING™ ECOVERO™ is a new-generation viscose fiber made from cellulose derived from renewable wood sources. Its manufacturing process uses up to 50% less water and generates significantly fewer CO₂ emissions than traditional viscose.
oekotex
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Every fabric bearing this label has been tested for harmful substances and is completely safe for skin contact.

Eco-friendly packaging

With care for the environment, we create not only clothing but also the way it reaches you. We make sure that every step—from design to shipping—is as eco-friendly as possible. That’s why at NAREE you’ll find

bags

Made from 100% plant starch, making them biodegradable and allowing them to break down naturally. They can be reused or disposed of in the compost bin.

Cardboard boxes and paper bags

They are made from FSC®-certified paper sourced from responsibly managed forests.

Nothing goes to waste

At NAREE, we believe that every product deserves a second life. That’s why:

  • We co-manage and moderate an online group where our clients can exchange items and sell them to other interested parties,
  • End-of-season items and products with minor imperfections are available in our outlet
  • Sample sewing projects are listed on the company's auctions, with proceeds going toward helping homeless animals.

We also provide guidance on how to care for your clothes so they last as long as possible. We’ve created a special tab with information on on how to care for fabrics.
